The Challenge

Large commercial complexes like Bashundhara Bazar Protidin require not just raw power, but intelligent power — systems that handle extreme electrical loads, protect sensitive equipment, maintain power quality, and eliminate single points of failure. Meeting this challenge demanded a solution with zero compromises.

What POWERtrac Delivered

POWERtrac designed, supplied, installed, tested, commissioned, and synchronized a complete high-voltage electrical infrastructure — from 33 kV grid entry to low-tension distribution — covering every layer of the power chain:

Dual Transformer System: Two indoor dry-type power transformers rated at 3.15 MVA and 4 MVA were deployed for clean, efficient, and low-maintenance power conversion ideal for commercial indoor environments.

High-Voltage Protection & Control (33 kV): A full suite of 33 kV equipment including Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB) switchgear at 630A, Auto Circuit Recloser (ACR), Air Break Switch (ABS), and dedicated CT & PT units ensures precise metering, automatic fault isolation, and enhanced grid protection.

High-Capacity LT Distribution: Three LT switchgear panels — rated at 6300A, 5000A, and 800A — along with a 5000A Bus Coupler provide flexible, redundant, and scalable low-tension power distribution across the complex.

Automatic Power Factor Correction: Dual automatic PFI plants rated at 2400 kVAR and 1890 kVAR actively optimize power factor in real time, reducing energy waste, improving efficiency, and lowering utility costs.

Personnel & Equipment Safety: Earth Leakage Breakers (ELB) safeguard both human lives and critical electrical assets throughout the installation.
